Flower Beds & Shrub Planting in Liberty, MO
A well-planted bed along the house or around the yard gives a property structure and color through the seasons. Atlas Landscape installs new flower beds and plants shrubs for homeowners in Liberty and the Kansas City area, from a single foundation bed to borders around the whole yard.
This service covers building the bed and getting the plants in the ground. If you need a complete planting plan for the property first, start with our garden design and installation service.
Most of our planting work is around Liberty, and we plant beds for Kansas City homeowners north of the river too.
Beds Built to Last Past the First Season
Plants struggle when the bed underneath is poor. We shape the bed, loosen and improve compacted soil, and set the edge before planting, so roots have room to grow and water drains the way it should.
Each plant is chosen for the light, soil, and space it will have when mature, not just how it looks in the pot. That means fewer shrubs covering windows in five years. For help choosing individual plants, see plant selection and installation, and finish new beds with mulch installation.

Plan the Bed Around Your Yard
Before we plant, we look at sun and shade through the day, how water moves across the area, and how the bed will be seen from the house, the street, and your seating areas.
The goal is a bed that looks full and intentional, stays in scale with the house, and does not need constant cutting back.
